The Composer
About Me

I was not born into concert halls. I was born into dust and labor — a servant girl who learned the shape of melodies by humming them quietly so no one would hear. Music was the one thing that could not be taken from me.
Arcasia began as an escape and became a testimony. Every movement carries the weight of chains and the refusal to stay chained: the war in these songs is the war of every person who was told they were nothing, and chose to become something anyway.
Today I write full orchestral scores from a small candlelit room, still with dirt under my nails, still with my eyes fixed on the horizon. If these songs sound like they were fought for — they were.
